Start each day fresh,
without losing your history
A task manager that understands today is different from yesterday. Organize your work with a clean slate while maintaining smart connections to what came before.
How It Works
Start each day fresh with a clean slate. Organize your tasks into clear buckets. Carry forward what matters, leave the rest behind.
Fresh Start Every Day
Each day is its own snapshot. Carry forward what you need, reorganize freely—your history stays intact.
Distraction-Free Focus
No due dates, no task counts, no anxiety. Just clean columns for Urgent, Today, Blocked, This Week, and Soon.
Logistics Space
A dedicated area for quick notes and daily details—because not everything needs to be a formal task.
Why We Built This
As a two-person husband-and-wife tech consultancy, we built forto.day to fit how we actually work.
Every morning starts with a brain dump — urgent deadlines, dinner plans, prospective client follow-ups, whatever's on our minds. For years we lived in Gmail drafts. Something about them just worked: the zero-overhead fresh start each morning, a text editor that's just rich enough without getting in your way, the freedom to organize without ceremony.
But we wanted something more structured — like Trello, but organized around a day. A way to start fresh each morning while maintaining connection to ongoing work. Just enough structure to help shoulder the cognitive load, while understanding that some context is easier to keep in our heads.
We built forto.day to capture that same lightweight, fresh-start feeling, but with just the right amount of organization and history. After using it ourselves, we realized other independent workers might need this too.

We're currently dogfooding the app ourselves and will open early access soon.
